Westmount has a comprehensive band program for students in grade 7 and 8 under the direction of Mr. Hedrich. Concert Band and our new Jazz band is offered as an extracurricular activity before school twice a week. Rehearsal and concert dates will be provided through the Remind App this year, please email michael_hedrich@kprdsb.ca if you need information to sign up or have any other questions related to the music program at Westmount. 
 
Students are encouraged to practice at least an hour a week. Instruments are often available to sign out any night of the week. Further resources related to playing will be available through your child’s Edsby account.
